WHEN TEAMS USE IT

Your best performer isn’t always your best leader

Promotions often go to whoever does the job best today. Leading people needs different strengths. We help you see them before you decide — and develop them after.

Promoting someone to manager

Will they delegate, guide and support others — or keep doing the work themselves?

Leading through change

Who stays steady, keeps decisions moving and holds the team together when priorities shift?

Growing your current leaders

What is quietly holding a good manager back — and what should they change first?

WHAT’S IN THE REPORT

Six sections. One complete picture of the leader.

Every leadership report follows the same clear structure, so it’s easy to read and easy to compare.

  1. 01

    Leadership profile

Their leadership style in two words, their edge, their blind spot, and how the team experiences them.

  2. 02

    Personality foundation

Their Big Five (OCEAN) personality traits — the natural patterns behind how they think, relate and decide.

  3. 03

    Leadership scorecard

A score for each of the 8 leadership qualities, plus an overall average.

  4. 04

How they lead when things change

Seven real situations — conflict, setbacks, delegating, pressure and more — and whether their leadership gets stronger or weaker in each.

  5. 05

Where they add the most value

The kind of work and roles they suit best — and the risks if their strengths are overused.

  6. 06

    Their next leadership shift

The one change that unlocks their next level, broken into three simple daily habits.

Questions HR teams ask

Identification or growth — which do we need?

Choose identification when you’re deciding who to promote. Choose growth when you want an existing leader to improve. Many teams do both.

What is the OCEAN framework?

OCEAN is another name for the Big Five personality traits: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. The personality foundation section uses these traits to describe patterns in how someone thinks, relates and decides.

Is the psychometric test compulsory?

No. The psychometric test is optional. The handwriting sample is the starting point, and the questionnaire adds the person’s own perspective to discuss alongside the report.

Can we assess a whole management team?

Yes. You can use the process with current managers and leaders as part of individual development conversations. Explain the purpose, involve each person in reviewing their report and connect the development plan to their actual role.

Does SoulEra decide who gets promoted?

No. Your team makes the decision. Use the report alongside work examples, role expectations and the person’s own perspective. Handwriting-based interpretations support reflection; they are not validated measures of leadership performance or promotion suitability.
